My plan for today is to find different creative and media events in the local area and to collect resources from a number of sources.
I needed to find out local events as well so i looked though local 'What's on Guides' and in local newspapers and websites and i analysed (IE4) these as to why these colours, fonts etc were used and went into depth about why the event is advertised in that way. In order to find out these things i collected many paper and virtual sources i found in newspapers, leaflets brochures, catalogs and websites. (IE2)
(RL1)(RL2)(RL5)A strength of mine this week was my ability to use my initiative to find things that weren't just easily accessible off the internet.
A weakness, and target for improvement is to look for different events on a wider range as alot of the results i got were on the same subject such as acting, costume making, art galleries and so on.
A skill I've learnt this week is how to search for jobs on the internet
Week 2
The plan for today is to find jobs in our local area including London.
The jobs had to be to do with Creative and Media, so i went on the internet and started job hunting. I went on specific job websites and also searched for individual unique jobs, like circus acts etc.. I also used newspaper clipping from my 'The Stage' newspaper which is targeted at creative and media news. With all the jobs I found I then analysed them, finding the salary, qualifications needed and any other information. (IE2)

a weakness was spending a long time trying to look for jobs off the internet when the results i were getting weren't very varied or in the local area.
